Input
- 2D DXF file up to 10 MiB
- Explicit units if missing from the file
Fidument Tools · Beta version
Open a 2D DXF drawing, choose layers, units and scale, then download vector PDF or SVG. Beta version; check access and export conditions in your account before execution.
Need to view, print or share a DXF drawing with someone who does not use CAD?
Open DXF and compare visible content with the intended drawing. Check unsupported-object messages. Renaming DWG does not convert it.
Apply the layer selection and update the preview. Declare missing units. Choose A4/A3, orientation and Fit or scale 1:n. A drawing that does not fit must not be cropped silently.
Create PDF or SVG and check lines, arcs and text. Print 1:1 PDF at 100%. A partial-result label must remain visible. The result is not a machining program.
Vector PDF retains drawing paths. A scale of 1:1 means 1 mm of the model on 1 mm of paper after DXF-unit conversion. Fit may enlarge or reduce the view; the applied scale is stated.
Check units, selected layers and text. Unsupported content must not disappear silently. Export is blocked by default; an explicit partial result carries a label and an omission list.
A 40 × 30 mm plate with a 30 × 10 mm slot. At 1:1 the PDF geometry is 40 mm wide. Print at 100%, without fitting again in the printer.
Choose the DXF, check the preview and layers, set units, page and scale, then create PDF. An account is required; access and execution follow the current Tools policy.
No. The page defines the paper area. Fit selects and states a print scale. Explicit 1:1 preserves physical dimensions; a drawing that does not fit requires a larger page or smaller scale.
Preview can be unitless. Before export, choose the unit matching the source documentation. It is recorded as user declared, not detected.
It transfers geometry and annotations stored in DXF. One curved edge and two filleted corners retain their distinct curves. Missing radius labels are not invented; add them in the source CAD.
Reconstruct simple flat parts from sketches or PDFs using dimensions. Review the outline, holes and questions before DXF export.
Describe a flat plate, fill in the form or import a supported STEP. Edit its profile, holes and thickness, inspect the preview and prepare DXF or STEP.
Check access and export conditions in the app. A product description does not grant access.
