1. Scope and browser storage

This policy covers the Fidument website operated by Przedsiębiorstwo Techniczne MTC Wiktor Suska and distinguishes cookies, localStorage and sessionStorage as different ways to store information on a device. Privacy contact: [email protected]. This version describes inspected website sources, not unverified settings of every production service.

2. Language preference — cookies

After an explicit language selection, the website stores fidument.language (pl, en or de) and fidument.language.source (choice). Each cookie has a maximum age of 31,536,000 seconds, or 365 days, is available to fidument.com and its subdomains, and uses Path=/, SameSite=Lax and Secure over HTTPS. The storage preserves the selected language; it does not grant permissions or store a session token.

3. Language preference — localStorage

The same keys, fidument.language and fidument.language.source, are written to localStorage after a language choice. This storage is separate for each origin and has no expiry set by the website code; it remains until deleted or replaced. The browser may clear it earlier under its own rules. Its absence does not change account permissions.

4. Temporary form state

The “Build your system” form uses sessionStorage under fidument.systemDesignIntake.pendingSubmit to safely retry an unconfirmed submission. The record may contain the submitted content and request identifier. It remains in the current tab, including after refresh, until submission is resolved, it is cleared manually or the tab session ends. The code sets no timed TTL and does not promise recovery after closing the tab.

5. Sign-in and provider pages

The application at app.fidument.com stores its own session and settings independently of the information website. A language preference does not transfer sign-in tokens between domains. Opening Stripe Checkout may invoke the payment provider’s mechanisms on its own page. Additional Cloudflare security cookies depend on the actual configuration; their names, purposes and durations must be checked before publishing the final list.

6. Analytics and consent

The inspected marketing sources contain no advertising analytics scripts or tracking pixels. This does not prove the absence of mechanisms added outside the repository. Device storage and access are governed by Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law, with an exception for narrowly defined necessary uses. Optional analytics or marketing must not start before appropriate consent. Accepting terms is not consent to those mechanisms.

7. Managing and clearing storage

Storage can be cleared in the browser’s site settings or blocked by storage type. Clearing cookies and localStorage may reset the language or sign the user out of the application; clearing sessionStorage may prevent retrying an unconfirmed submission. Changing a preference does not invalidate previously lawful processing. New mechanisms require updated policy and consent controls before activation.

To confirm before approval

Retention and deletion periods, providers and transfers, required annexes and external review of the content and translations remain to be confirmed. This version remains a draft until then.
